The Toddlers of Carrboro, NC will be playing several shows throughout NC this fall w/ The Love Language, and Gross Ghost. I first heard The Toddlers while attending a show where I didn't know a single band -- but of course had heard Steve Shelley would be playing drums somewhere in the mix. The Toddlers opened for Disappears, and Lotus Plaza. I was engrossed by Disappears and let down by Lotus Plaza, but I can honestly say, out of the three bands The Toddlers left a lasting impression. Excellent drumming, incredible vocals and overall, a sincere vibe influenced by some of the great new-wave rock bands of the mid-late 70's. I certainly plan on attending one of the upcoming shows this fall. Join me.
